T.i. Moved 2 Higher Security Prison

TMZ has discovered that T.I. has been relocated to a “special Housing Unit” as a result of a prison infraction during wife, Tiny’s, last scheduled visit. Apparently, the couple is allowed to kiss and embrace during the beginning and end of their time together but inmates’ hands must remain in plain view at all times.

Reports say both parties were reprimanded after guards caught Tiny reaching for Tip’s tool or something below his belt.

T.I. covers VIBE, speaks on drug habit

Just a few days before T.I. had to turn himself into authorities once again, the predicate felon sat down with journalist, Erik Parker, and opened up about how someone who has been given so many chances ends up back in a prison cell. The Dec/Jan issue of VIBE hits news stands on Nov.30th.

VIBE: How did you get a drug habit?

T.I. : I had a lot of work done to my teeth. Oral surgery, extractions, six, seven, eight root canals. Between January to February. As soon as I got out, I had a lot of stuff done. In the joint, you eat shit that is unhealthy for you. I had fillings that fell out and stuff that had to get dealt with. Of course for the pain they gave me oxycontin and hydrocodone. And, mind you, on October 13, 2007, I had cut off everything―weed, alcohol. Then I get these pills and I start taking them for the pain at first. And then I’m like, Wait―this shit makes me feel good. And it’s legal. After the pain went away, I kept taking it. I had like five, six prescriptions. So I had, like 80 pills. Everybody else might have a drink or smoke a blunt, I took a pain pill. Times when I had 18-, 20-hour days, I’d take a pain pill. And eventually I developed―I guess―the beginning stages of dependence.

Here’s some footage of Tip on the scene of yesterday’s incident, explaining to the cameras what transpired and the roll he played in talking the suicidal man down off the ledge. His PR people must be creaming their pants. They could’ve worked a month straight and couldn’t have possibly orchestrated anything that would’ve played out as sweet as this did.

T.I.'s Probation Officer Recommends Prison

Prison time for T.I. is inevitable, although prosecutors and defense lawyers representing the rap star are arguing in court over how much time he should spend in prison for violating his probation.

According to reports, T.I.'s probation officer has recommended a sentence of eight to 14 months in prison, while lawyers for the rapper countered that at most, T.I. should be sent to prison for 5 to 11 months.

At 2:00 PM on October 15th, T.I. will find out just how much time he will spend behind bars, for violating the terms of his probation on September 1st in Los Angeles.

Police stopped the rapper around 10:45PM on the Sunset Strip, after he made an illegal U-turn in his Maybach.

A search of the occupants revealed that T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were carrying a controlled substance, later identified as ecstasy.

Additionally, T.I. tested positive for drugs during a test conducted after the traffic stop.

T.I. was on probation after being released from prison last March, after serving a year for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers in October of 2007, just before the BET Awards.

Rapper T.I. may have been sippin' on sizzurp after all the night of his felony drug possession arrest -- because cops say dude had the main ingredient, codeine, when he was busted.

T.I.'s probation officer just filed documents in Georgia that say L.A. County Sheriff's deputies found codeine, marijuana and ecstasy in T.I.'s possession during the September 1 arrest.

As we first reported, T.I. had several Styrofoam cups in his Maybach that night (pictured below). Sizzurp -- aka codeine syrup -- is commonly served in Styrofoam cups.

The document also states that T.I. tested positive for opiates the day after the arrest, but does not name a specific drug. Neither marijuana nor ecstasy are opiates.

T.I. & Tiny Arrested in L.A. (UPDATED)

Clifford and Tameka were arrested late last night in Los Angeles after their Maybach was pulled over on Sunset Blvd. and the officers smelled the aroma of piff wafting from the vehicle. They were later released on $10,000 bail (which seems kinda steep for some trees), but I’m sure somebody from the U.S. Attorney’s office is going to want to holler at him about this. Not to mention that, to some folks, this will pretty much negate all of that new leaf turning over he was spitting during his weapons case.

UPDATE: T.I.’s Maybach was pulled over because they made an illegal U-turn. The cops then smelled the weed aroma and decided to search the car. TMZ is now alledging that they found methamphetamines and ecstasy in the car and that both T.I. and his wife might be facing up to a year (Tiny had been stopped for weed and ecstasy in the past.)

Based on weekend estimates, the horror film The Last Exorcism grossed an estimated $21.3 million at 2,874 locations, enough to narrowly edge out Takers, which came in at No. 2 after earning $21 million at 2,206 theaters, according to studio estimates. At this rate, it should have no problem recouping its $32 million budget.
