Eminem’s Recovery moved 741,000 units according to Billboard. This will be his 6th straight #1 album.
“Recovery’s” debut week sales surpasses the first week of Eminem’s last set, “Relapse,” which began at No. 1 in 2009 with 608,000. It also beats the opening of 2005’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” which entered at No. 1 with 441,000 in 2005.
Eminem’s new album also wows digitally, as downloads made up 255,000 of its first week. That’s the second-biggest digital week for an album in history. Only Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends” notched a larger frame, when it debuted with 288,000 downloads in the summer of 2008.
So this guy sells more digital downloads than most rappers can give away for free. Fucking awesome.

So Drake didn’t sell a billion copies of Thank Me Later huh. I can’t say I’m all that surprised. I figured he’d probably do a respectable 500-600K, but I was also prepared for him to do something completely ridiculous like 2 million. Over saturation can either work for you or against you and this seems to be a case of the latter. Not that I blame his handlers/Universal for flooding the market. That’s what your supposed to do with an artist that’s buzzing right? I suppose. I think there’s a balance that needs to be struck though. You don’t want people to walk into the record store and say “who the fuck is this guy”, but you also don’t want them thinking, “not this fucking guy again”.

The best thing to do about these situations is to avoid and prevent them all together. That is why I compiled a list of things that you can put in a little bag every day!! . If you have all of these essentials and bring them out every day I guarantee you will never have an off day again. These are the things men like....just in case you might be looking for one. If not, do it simply for yourself.
1. Shimmery lip gloss such as Too faced diamond gloss. You can get that from Sephora. This will always give your face a brightener.
2. Clear nail polish and nail file
3. Mini perfume bottle in sample size
4. Tinted moisturizer such as Laura Mercier (sephora) I don't care what men say they DO like makeup!
5. Eyeliner in black will always open your eyes..My fave right now is Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid liner.
Also if you always have a bright piece of clothing on you will always look cute in the summer. My new fave thing...Bright skirts with white shirts. These ones from express just went on sale along with the graphic ones. So go get one and wear them with silver metallic flat sandals and a long chain necklace. Here's an everyday complete outfit.
