Trendy Tuesdays With Lucky Linden: ‎Lucky Linden's How To Organize Your Closet Minus Stress

Have you been feeling stressed and frazzled when its time to get dressed for school or work?? That is a telltale sign that you need to clean out your closet. I will outline the basic steps on how to do this. This has worked for me in the past and helps me to simplify my outfit planning.

1. Throw out all flimsy or unflattering clothing. If something just doesn't look right you should give it away or to the salvation army. Don't rationalize with yourself and say "one day i'll fit into it", or "maybe i'll wear it on a bad day". If you don't think it makes you feel good then do yourself a favor and never wear it again. Not even to sleep. That's just my advice

2. Keep all of your wardrobe essentials such as a black blazer, white button down, trench coat in any color, black slacks, nice dark pair of levis. You can find out in more detail what you'll need from this site http://www.thechicfashionista.com/wardrobe-essentials.html

3. Now you have to organize things according to where you go. Say for example you go to work and out at night. There are certain dresses that you can transfer from day to night just by using accessories. So that can make things easier for you. For example a lbd (little black dress) can still be worn in the daytime if you pair it with a cropped denim jacket and a bright belt or so.

4. When you shop from here on, pick things that go with the wardrobe essentials that you already have. If you "wardrobe" as opposed to "outfit" you will have much success and always look pretty.

More to come next week,
~Lucky~
